About us
Facilicom Consult was started in 1997 by Mr. Simon Koolwijk. During the past years, Facilicom did a large number of consultancies and training for more than twenty-five organisations in The Netherlands and abroad. Simon has an educational background as a civil engineer in Agriculture and has completed a Masters in Business Administration at the Newport University. In addition Mr. Simon Koolwijk did a trainers of trainers degree in faciltation methods with the Institute of Cultural Affairs USA, who are based in the USA.

Mission
Facilicom Consult is an organisation, which promotes participative approaches and facilitates organisational, community & personal growth. By providing services in capacity building and facilitation Facilicom wants to contribute to poverty reduction, peace building and sustainable development whereby people are stimulated to take their own responsibility by stimulating their own ideas and respecting their cultural beliefs and values.

Vision
Facilicom Consult aims to be a senior advising institute in Participation, Capacity Building and Facilitation in The Netherlands, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Facilicom aims to be a senior advising institute in:
1. Promoting practices and models of participation, capacity building and facilitation
2. To contribute to the growth and strengthening the capacity of organisations, communities and individuals who are active in poverty reduction, creating employment, sustainable development and peace building;
3. To contribute to the process of developing trainers and facilitators.
