Components, which are regularly included in a tailormade community development training programme are:
• Training in community analysis and planning methods, which helps to create commitment and consensus. Most applied methods are the Technology of Participation and the Participatory Rural Appraisal techniques;
• Train and assist on how to train community leaders;
• Learning how to write project proposals & how to defend a budget;
• Formulating monitoring and evaluation indicators and procedures for effective monitoring and evaluation;
• Learning how to organize and plan for effective meetings;
• Conduct team building sessions.
